February Recap: From Court-Side to Candlelight
February was a month defined by atmosphere — the roar of the crowd, the clink of glasses, the glow of candlelight — and the kind of moments that remind us why we do what we do.
Taking Farmer’s Daughters to the Australian Open
As summer in Melbourne reached its peak, we found ourselves at the heart of one of the country’s most iconic sporting events — the Australian Open.
Against the backdrop of world-class tennis and international excitement, we brought our Farmer’s Daughters farm-to-table philosophy to centre stage. For us, it was never just about serving food — it was about sharing a story. A story of regional Victorian producers, of paddock-to-plate provenance, and of thoughtful hospitality that feels both elevated and grounded.
Serving very special guests throughout the tournament, our team delivered an experience that reflected the energy of the Open itself — vibrant, refined and distinctly Australian. It was an opportunity to showcase the depth of our produce partnerships and the care that goes into every plate, all within one of Melbourne’s most celebrated moments on the global calendar.
A Valentine’s Day to Remember
Just as the final serves were played, the mood across our venues shifted — from the buzz of the tournament to the romance of Valentine’s Day.
This year marked our most successful Valentine’s Day yet.
Across Farmer’s Daughters, Victoria by Farmer’s Daughters, Barra, Wine House, and Morena Sydney, our teams transformed each space into an intimate setting for connection and celebration. Thoughtfully curated menus, perfectly paired wines, warm lighting and carefully considered details created the backdrop for hundreds of shared moments.
In a single evening, we welcomed 798 guests — 399 couples — each table holding its own story. First dates. Long-time partners. Anniversaries. Proposals. Laughter carried through dining rooms, glasses were raised, and kitchens hummed with purpose.
It was a night that reminded us that hospitality, at its heart, is about creating space for people to connect.
