Gippsland Getaway - The People and Places on our Plates

In January, our leaders escaped the city for a truly unforgettable adventure in the stunning landscapes of Gippsland! The trip was a chance for us to reconnect with the amazing people and places behind the incredible produce you enjoy at our restaurants. It was all about slowing down, soaking in the beautiful surroundings, and hearing the inspiring stories of resilience and passion from local producers. This eye-opening experience has truly ignited our team, shaping the exciting next chapter for Farmer’s Daughters and all our Renascence Group venues. Get ready for some incredible new flavours!

We packed the weekend with visits to some of the region's absolute gems. We sipped wine with the lovely families at Cannibal Creek Vineyard and Fleet Wines, discovered delicious trout at Noojee Alpine Trout Farm, and met the legendary fourth-generation spud farmers at Jones Potatoes. Every stop reminded us of one simple truth: great food starts with great ingredients and a whole lot of love. We also had a blast checking out the high-quality meats at Craig Young’s Butchery and the sustainable magic happening at Amber Creek Farm & Sawmill.

The grand finale was a visit to the world-renowned Bass Philip Vineyard, exploring how their dedication to quality results in that perfect glass of Pinot Noir. We’ve come back buzzing with inspiration and a reinforced commitment to bringing the very essence of Gippsland straight to your table in Melbourne. We can't wait for you to taste the difference this renewed connection makes!
