Farmer’s Daughters Wine House is inviting guests to lean into winter with the launch of its new Victorian Cheese Fondue experience, a cosy, generous and deliciously fun offering celebrating the region’s rich dairy country, seasonal produce and exceptional cool-climate wines.
From 4pm onwards
$55 pp
The Wine House Fondue brings together a molten blend of Victorian cheeses, from which the Long Paddock - Banksia is the star, a 6-8 month semi-hard Tomme-style cheese, similar to a Tomme de Savoie or Abondance, made with certified organic cow’s milk from a nearby family-run farm. Banksia has a natural rind, with paste that is firm and elastic, yet creamy & melty, packed full of sweet-grassy and buttery-savoury flavours.
Served with all the golden, dunkable comforts the season calls for: creamy Jones potatoes, house-made pickles, native herb bread croutons. For those looking to make the moment even more indulgent, guests can upgrade their fondue experience with a selection of Salt Kitchen cured meats or the ultimate winter luxury: Gippsland truffles.
